Play @ Heights Park has a free-admission waterpark that welcomes kids to have some water fun in a the Toa Payoh neighbourhood. The waterpark is definitely special because it is nestled in the middle of a HDB estate. We came across this place when we are browsing for nearby waterparks which we can bring baby Yuyi to this Sunday. After reading a couple of blog posts recommending the place, we decided to check it out ourselves.
Play @ Heights Park Review
Play @ Heights Park is quite conveniently located. If you are driving, you can park at the HDB estate carparks – there’s abundance of parking space. For public transportation, its just a 8 mins walk from the Toa Payoh MRT station.
Play @ Heights Park is a family-friendly park. In addition to the waterpark, you can also find a playground (with sand), and a fitness corner in the vicinity.
When we reached, I am disappointed. The waterpark looks like it hasn’t undergone maintenance service for quite some time. The waterpark ground is very dirty with leaves and trash lying all around. This is not what we definitely expected. The water contained in the structures seems a little yellowish, probably due to the cleanliness .
The place is not overly crowded. When we arrived, there are a couple of families playing there as well.
Just beside the waterpark, there is a shower facility for use.
Of course, we decided not to let Yuyi play with the water for obvious hygiene sake. (although she is fully geared up with her swimsuit).
On the bright side, we are glad to have visited Play @ Heights Park to take a look ourselves and happy to share these experiences for people who may be looking for some honest reviews and photos.
Definitely, we are not coming back to Play @ Heights Park again! Probably someone should feedback to the community centre that the waterpark is due for some maintenance.
Next, we decided to give Kidz Amaze @Safra a try, and will post a review after we visited. If you have been to Kidz Amaze, appreciate if you can leave a comment and tell us your experience!
