On our last day in Bangkok, we decided to visit this cafe to get ourselves a nice brunch. The cafe is near Ekkamai BTS. It’s about a 10 to 15 mins walk and is around a corner which may not be that obvious for you to locate until you see its signboard.
Fill in the blanks cafe is a two-storey shophouse framed with wood and stainless glasses. Under the morning sunshine, the plants on the balcony are shining in fresh green color.
Inside you can see bread baskets and bags placed on wooden tables which make me feel like shopping in a Muji store. “Less is more!” – I think this is what best describes the style of the cafe.
We were the first customer on that day. Their menu is quite comprehensive with items ranging from tea, coffee, desserts to breakfast. We ordered two different sets of breakfast set, chewing gum soda drink and one mocha coffee. I love the soda as it reminds me of the chewing gum I used to chew in my childhood.
The second floor continues the simple wooden design concept and you can find products like bags, pillows, tea towels and clothing for sale.
Check Fill in the blanks cafe next time you are in Bangkok!
