Hakone is special because it offers a little something for everyone. Visitors can gaze at Mount Fuji, relax in an onsen, and still make it back to Tokyo the same day if they really wanted to. Though, we wouldn’t recommend cutting your Hakone visit short. Spend the night and enjoy tranquil evenings that many day visitors miss.

Located on Japan’s northernmost island, Sapporo is a great destination for travelers who love wide-open spaces and distinct seasons.
Sapporo is probably most popular during the winter season. It hosts Japan’s famous snow festival and has excellent skiing. But summers and fall are some of our favorite seasons to visit Sapporo. It’s also much cooler than Japan’s main island cities during these seasons. Flower fields, hiking, and seafood are abundant year-round in Hokkaido. Hokkaido and Sapporo also give off a much more spacious vibe than cities on main island Japan.
