We all know that Bali is a paradise with a large number of villas and homestays. It’s not difficult to find villas in Bali because villas and homestays are abundant in Bali. Choosing a private villa is suitable for travelers who want space, comfort, authentic Balinese-style luxury. In this Villa Tiiiga Thrē Review, I will share my Villa Tiiiga Thrē stay experience in detail, from the villa’s layout to the design, facilities, environment, price, etc.
First Impressions
My first impression of Villa Tiiiga Thrē is that it is spacious. It is located in a small and quiet place in Mengwi, not on the main road, and it takes only about 10 minutes to walk to the tourist attractions and shopping mall. Villa Tiiiga Thrē’s architectural style is a modern minimalist and balinese rustic combination. It comes with gray-and-white wabi-sabi tones, bamboo accents, rattan accessories, sunken outdoor pool with palm trees.
What surprised me most on arrival was the quiet environment. The villa is not located on the main road like other villas. I did not hear the sound of scooters passing by and construction noise, so it was good for sleeping at night.
The Villa Layout
Villa Tiiiga Thrē is suitable for large family groups. It has three ensuite bedrooms so no more waiting to use the bathrooms. In addition, there is also a sunken living room, which is also very spacious and cozy. In particular, this type of sunken living room uses glass wall panels, which not only maximizes the space but also makes people feel very open and connected.
I think families and friends can choose to book this villa. It is suitable for large groups as it is very spacious. The villa’s signature is its outdoor swimming pool which has a jelly-colored turquoise water, and the sun terrace was beautiful at all times. It also has small garden and outdoor sofas and balconies for people to rest and relax. Every detail of the villa is very good for tourists to relax.
Interior Design Details
The Villa Tiiiga Thrē’s interior is very typical of an Instagram worthy interior design, but not too exaggerated. It has gray and white polished concrete floors, neutral wall colors, bamboo pendant lights, and woven grass mats.
The living room uses a sunken design concept, which adds a modern touch, while the panoramic glass wall on both sides beautifully blends the indoor and outdoor environment.
In addition, the bedrooms are all air-conditioned, with good natural light, large rooms, and simple decoration. The bedding is also very comfortable. Although this villa does not have a lot of extravagant high-end decoration, it does give a very comfortable and homely vibes.
In addition, the villa’s bathroom is also very clean and modern. Flooring is anti slippery and I think that is a plus points, especially if you are travelling with seniors and toddlers.
Things To Take Note
- The villa does not provide slippers for you to wear.
- The villa does not have an in-room safe, so if you bring a lot of cash and valuables, you should pay extra attention to your valuables.
- The villa’s staircase railings have some big gaps, so if you have small children at home, you should be careful.
In fact, these are common with many other villas in Bali as well. Most people will not have any problems with this.
Facilities and Services
The villa also provides a number of facilities and services to make the tourists’ lives more comfortable, including:
- Outdoor Swimming Pool: Clean, available year-round, maintained weekly.
- Free WiFi: The WIFI signal is good.
- Free Parking and Bicycle Parking: Convenient for travelers renting scooters or cars.
- Daily Housekeeping: The property is regularly cleaned.
- Air Conditioning: Great for Bali’s heat, available in bedrooms.
- Family Rooms: Large, suitable for multi-generation travelers.
There is a supermarket called Frestive Pererenan which is 2 minutes walk away from the villa. This will make your life in the villa even more convenient!
Pros and cons
Pros
- Spacious 3-bedroom villa which is perfect for group travel
- Quiet location with no traffic noise
- Outdoor pool and sun terrace great for lounging and photos
- Walking distance to an international supermarket
- Friendly host and prompt communication
Cons
- No slippers provided, minor inconvenience
- Could clean some corners better
- Warning for families with toddlers: stair railing gaps
- No TV in rooms, if you want to watch late-night movies or shows, bring devices
- No in-room safe, for those carrying valuables
- The audio system for the projector in living room is not very good.
- Some insects (e.g. ants, house lizards) – Common in villas in Bali.
Location
Villa Tiiiga Thrē is located in Mengwi / Canggu area. It is about 18 km away from Ngurah Rai International Airport. It is not far from Bali’s famous temples and beaches.
- Tanah Lot Temple: 8 km
- Petitenget Temple: 9 km
- Canggu beach area: about 5-15 minutes by scooter
The villa is not located in a hidden place, so guests do not need to drive through the old mansions with little width. Cars and larger vehicles are easy to access as well. In addition, the neighboring areas also give people a safe, residential feeling. You can also see a lot of Balinese local shop and restaurants in the surrounding area.
Address: 948P+R25, Jl. Pantai Pererenan, Pererenan, Kec. Mengwi, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesia

Prices
For private villas in Bali, we can see a wide range of prices, from cheap homestays to extremely expensive private villas. Villa Tiiiga Thrē can be said to be in a comfortable price range. When I stayed, it was about 30–40 USD per person per night, which was a very reasonable price for a three-bedroom private villa with its own pool. This is especially affordable for groups, and the cost can be shared by the group members.
In addition, I do not think that the villa’s quality can be matched by small hotels or guesthouses. E.g. You will not be able to find small hotels which comes with private space and swimming pool. Also, the hotel rooms will be smaller and less spacious.
The villa’s unique advantage is its space and exclusivity, at a lower price than a hotel. In other words, for families, groups, and friends who want to stay near Canggu/Mengwi, choosing Villa Tiiiga Thrē can be a very good choice.
Who is Villa Tiiiga Thrē for ?
In my opinion, this villa is a good fit for the following people:
- Families: It can provide space and privacy to families, and it is also an affordable choice.
- Friends Group Travel: You can also choose this villa for travel with friends, it is also very good near Canggu area, but far away from the crowd.
- Instagrammers and Cozy Comfort Seekers: People who love beautiful and comfortable places will also like this villa. It is quiet, and in addition, it has WiFi. It is also very suitable for long-stay digital nomads to stay here for a long time.
People that the villa is not very suitable for:
- Solo travelers: This villa is not suitable for solo travelers. After all, it is a villa for groups.
- Luxury seekers: If you are looking for five-star hotel quality services, villas may not be your choice. However, most villas are simple but good for people.
- Tiny toddlers at home: Families with small children should be careful with this villa’s stair railing gaps.
Overall Rating: 8.5/10
In summary, I will highly recommend Villa Tiiiga Thrē to people who visit Canggu/Mengwi. It is not perfect, but the pros far outweigh the cons. I appreciate its large villa layout, serene location, and a very beautiful in-villa pool.
The three most prominent points in my mind are the peaceful sleeping at night, the prompt response and friendliness of the host, and the supermarket in close proximity. In fact, in Bali, these are the most important factors that can make people’s stay more perfect. As we all know, there are many villas in Bali’s Canggu area. I do think that Villa Tiiiga Thrē is a villa worth booking for your next trip!
