ShinyVisa is One Year Old!

shinyvisa one year old
Written by Nicole Li

On 18 March 2017, ShinyVisa is officially one year old! Okay, I can’t believe we made it out so far. This one year has been an exciting journey full of learning and experiments as we started writing in ShinyVisa about our travel experiences around the world.

Just a year go, ShinyVisa was just a random idea we had over dinner. Today, it is not only a dream come true but also a travel site with more than 100 articles with topics in travel, food, and lifestyle.

During the last 365 days, we managed to travel to Taiwan, Sichuan, Guangzhou, Bintan, Malacca and Russia. Our objective has always been about bringing different travel experiences, photos and tips to our readers. We also begin trying out several interesting cafes and restaurants in Singapore to provide useful reviews for both local users and tourists (Well, we gained a few kgs for that!). In addition, we are glad to be able to collaborate with a few travel bloggers, startups, and ad agencies. Our monthly unique visits have more than doubled as when we first started. Undoubtedly, we feel very grateful to you – our dear readers who bring support, encouragement and a slight sense of achievement to us.

As we mentioned in the About page,

Our vision is to inspire people to explore the world together

We are still working hard on our mission and have been striving to inspire people (like you) to explore the world together. ShinyVisa is focused on writing down-to-earth & simple travel experiences that anyone can follow and we will continue to do so for the upcoming years.

We are still learning and growing and believe us, we will have more adventures to come this year.

Stay tuned.
