Our Experience
Our homestay is located in the center Chiang Mai Old town and we booked a one day private hire car via Grab app (Think it’s around 1200 baht for 1 full day) as we also intended to visit multiple places outside Chiang Mai old town. I Love Flower Farm is located quite near to Chiang Mai old town and it only takes around 30 mins by car from the old town.
When arriving, there is a dedicated carpark where visitors can drop off or park their cars. The reception is just located beside the carpark and its easily noticeable. At the reception, you will need to redeem your tickets by scanning the QR code, after which there will be free shuttle transfer to the farm via tuk tuk. There is also a pop up stall selling drinks like ice coffee or smoothie in case you would like to have something to drink. The weather is blazing hot during our visit and are so elated to be able to get some watermelon smoothie.
I Love Flower Farm is not as big as what we expected, but we think it is of decent size. Just beside the entrance, there’s their cafe where most visitors will chill in before heading out to the farm for photo taking. Your ticket will include a free welcome drink and desserts which you can redeem at the cafe.
Wrapping Up
Overall, I Love Flower Farm is a pretty decent place to visit if you like flowers and want to take beautiful photos of yourself with a sea vast of flowers. It’s a good choice if you want a slow paced and relaxing experience. If you are heading down in the afternoon, weather can be quite hot so be sure to bring an umbrella or apply sun screen. The ticket cost is relatively cheap and it is value for money. We also recommend getting a two way private hire car as it can be quite hard to get back to the city

You should plan another visit then!
Hi Nicole,
Is it easy to get Grab car when you go back to city?
Hello Nay,
Chimping in on behalf of Nicole :). We hire a driver by hour (via the grab app) on the day of our visit. (Day tour as we also visited other places). My impression of I love flower farm is that it’s quite away from city, I didn’t try calling a on demand grab car there, so not sure how’s the availability. I feel it may be hard to get a grab car looking at the surrounding.
My personal opinion – I would suggest getting a private driver instead of ride hailing on demand. ( Don’t you want to have the stress of not being able to get a ride back)
Hope this helps, and happy visiting!
