Nestled within Phoenix Park, Boufe Boutique Cafe is a minimalist cafe that sells elegantly made cakes and delicious heartwarming brunch. Though the cafe is not very accessible and is located at the far end from Phoenix Park’s entrance, Boufe is still quite popular among young people. In addition to operating as a cafe, Boufe is also a popular choice for couples who are looking for wedding solemnization venues, probably due to its colonial style building.

I first came across Boufe cafe when I am “googling” for a venue for my wedding solemnization. Apparently, I am quite attracted by its cozy, minimalist and white interior decor. It is probably a better idea to check out Boufe Facebook/website to see if it’s open before dropping by the cafe. As Boufe is popular as an event venue, there are times that the Boufe may be closed for private events. (We made a wasted trip once!)

We arrived at Boufe around evening time at 4:30 PM. Surprisingly, the place is already crowded at this timing and there is a waiting time of around 30 minutes. We make ourselves comfortable in the waiting area at the back of the cafe. The waiting area is actually the place where couples held their solemnization. Look at the flower decorations below!

If you “googled” for Boufe reviews, you may notice that most food bloggers will recommend you to order desserts when you are here. The “Mini Unicorn Cake” is one of the must order.

Daisy Log Cake

The Daisy log cake is one of the new additions that was launched in 2015. If you are a matcha lover, I will definitely recommend you to order this. Made with green tea, silky smooth yuzu cremeux and lychee mousse, the daisy log cake gives a sourly and refreshing taste.

Truffle Fries

The truffle fries tasted average (like truffles fries served in any other cafes) and it comes with cheddar shreds and rich truffle taste. Dip the fries into their chili sauce before savoring it.

Charcoal Lemonade

Saw this promotional drink and decided to order it. Basically, it tastes just like any lemonade, but black in color. The concept seems interesting and the drink looks quite Instagram worthy.

Summary

Boufe Boutique Cafe is not very accessible unless you drive. Though hidden at the far end of Phoenix Park, the cafe is still quite well-known among cafe lovers. I will recommend Boufe for their cakes and coffee. Will definitely revisit Boufe to try out their brunch dishes. Till then…
